Age-Graded Performance Index – Apr 2025

MR25 5km Time Trial Age-graded Performance Index (API) Leaderboard – April 2025

New 5KM Time Trial API Leaderboard Update!

With the April 5KM Time Trial now completed, we have wrapped up two full cycles of the MR25 Age-Graded Performance Index Leaderboard, first introduced in June 2023 — that’s 12 time trials and over 200 entries!

We are excited to unveil the latest update, which now features separate leaderboards for the 5KM and 4.8KM Time Trial courses. This change reflects the growing size of the leaderboard and introduces a route-independent ranking system that accounts for the slight differences in distance and layout between our standard men’s 5KM and women’s 4.8KM routes.

Here is the latest update:

For runners not aware, our club introduced this 5km Age-graded Performance Index Leaderboard from June 2023 5km Time Trial to generate some fun and friendly competitions among participants of our bimonthly 5km Time Trial.

The index accounts for age and gender differences using internationally recognised performance standards — enabling runners of all ages and genders to compete on a more level playing field and enjoy the challenge together.
