2024 MR25 Ultramarathon Event Info & Registration
After the success of the 2023 MR25 ULTRAMARATHON, the Organising Committee has meticulously curated another edition for 2024, making subtle adjustments for an even more captivating and exhilarating event. Join us for this unique and historic dawn to dusk challenge along the trails of MacRitchie Reservoir!
(I) QUALIFYING RACE (1 June to 30 November 2024 – Virtual):
Complete most number of 10.5km loops at MacRitchie in the quickest time from 7am to 7pm in counter clockwise direction, along the designated race route^ starting from the Amenities Centre.
*4 Categories:
(a) Men’s Closed (MR25 members)
(b) Women’s Closed (MR25 members)
(c) Men’s Open (non-members)
(d) Women’s Open (non-members)
- Race is self-supported.
- Unlimited attempts on any day during the qualifying race period.
- Complete 5 or more loops to achieve ‘Finisher’ status.
- Results of Strava^ must be submitted by 2359hrs on the day of attempt based on google forms submission (late uploads will not be processed).
- Leaderboard will be updated weekly from 1 June to 31 October 2024, and be posted by Monday 2359hrs of the following week, after which it will be updated daily in November by the following day.
- Results are based on the best attempt during the period in a single day. It will be ranked according to the following criteria, in the order/priority of:
- Number of 10.5 km loops completed (more loops ranked higher)
- Attempt date (earlier date attempts ranked higher)
- Time taken (faster elapsed time ranked higher) – i.e., start of first run to end of last run
Top 6 of each category progress to the Finals to join up with up to 6 invited guests/participants to form a total of up to 30 finalists.

(ii) FINALS (29 December 2024, Sunday – Physical):
- 24 finalists and up to 6 invitees will be notified by email by 6 December 2024 (race location and route will be disclosed).
- Race timing from 7am to 7pm. First loop must be on/after 7am and last loop must complete before 7pm.
- Complete most number of loops along the designated race route^ in the quickest time.
- Must complete 5 loops in the finals to be considered ‘Finisher’ in the finals.
Prizes for Finalists in all categories:
- 1st position: Trophy + Cash S$200*
- 2nd position: Medal + Cash S$180*
- 3rd position: Medal + Cash S$160*
- 4th position: Medal + Cash S$140*
- 5th position: Medal + Cash S$120*
(*cash prizes will not apply for categories with less than 20 registered participants. Additional attractive prizes from sponsors and well-wishers including prizes from CREATIVE will be added and published periodically)
(III) FOR MR25 MEMBERS ONLY! (Most number of loops from 1 June to 31 December 2024)
To make our year-end Ultramarathon more interesting and inclusive for our members, the organizing committee has added one more category to the competition – three members who accumulate the most number of 10.5km loops between 1 June to 31 December 2024, from 7am to 7pm, will win for themselves medals and attractive prizes from CREATIVE. Uploading of Strava^ results must be submitted by 2359hrs on the day of attempt based on google forms submission (late uploads will not be processed).
Register for the Ultramarathon as a participant (under Closed group) and you will automatically qualify for this competition!

- 1st position: Medal + Creative Outlier Free Pro Plus
- 2nd position: Medal + Creative MUVO Go
- 3rd position: Medal + Medal + Creative Outlier Free Plus
PARTICIPANT ENTITLEMENTS:
- Inov8 Event singlet for all participants (by Key Power Sports)
- Inov8 Finisher T-shirt after completion of 5 loops in the Qualifying Race (by Key Power Sports)
(Collection Date/Time/Venue: 29 December 2024 from 7am to 7pm at a venue that will be announced later. One representative can collect on behalf of a few runners. Just bring screenshots of confirmation email)
